The movement of the front wheels gives the clearest indication of where the vehicle is actually going.

If you are driving behind a large goods vehicle that signals left but steers to the right, you should slow down and let the vehicle turn. Large vehicles often need extra space to make turns, and they may signal one direction while steering in the opposite direction to maneuver safely. It’s important to give them room and wait until it's safe to proceed.
